About us

Velocity is an independent consultancy based in Copenhagen, Denmark.  We provide expertise on  ESG and sustainability strategy, implementation and communication.

We combine strategic consultancy with expertise in understanding and communicating  with stakeholders. Together, these capabilities help companies to build a strong ESG proposition  AND capture its value by communicating with their key stakeholders.


Anders De Lichtenberg


Anders leads our work on ESG and sustainability strategy, and our science-based targets and TCFD projects.


He has over 15 years' experience within strategy, management consulting and front-line management. He is an experienced advisor to CEOs, boards and senior management within the transport, logistics, energy and real estate sectors.

Anders joined Maersk's management trainee programme (MISE) in 2006 and worked with the company internationally, most recently as Head of Strategy for Maersk Drilling during its listing on the Nasdaq Copenhagen.


He holds an MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and courses from IMD.

Simon Taylor


Simon leads our work on ESG communication and reporting, including sustainability reporting and disclosures, investor communication and ESG ratings projects.


He has over 20 years’ experience within politics and strategic communication and has a deep understanding of the energy, finance and technology sectors.


Simon was formerly a press secretary to the New Zealand Minister of Finance and has led communications consultancies and corporate communications teams across Asia Pacific and Europe.

Simon holds a BA (Hons) in Politics.


Amélie Huart

Senior Consultant

Amélie leads our work on GRI implementations and supports our projects on ESG and sustainability strategy, science-based targets and TCFD implementation.


She brings four years’ experience within strategy implementation, formulation and organisational redesign. Amélie is also experienced in project management and performance tracking and reporting.


Amélie joined the Maersk Drilling Strategy Department during her Masters studies in International Business at Copenhagen Business School after graduating from her Bachelor studies in Vienna, Austria, where she also held an academic research position at the Vienna University of Economics and Business at the Institute for Managing Sustainability.

Amélie holds an MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Kasper Julin

Senior Consultant

Kasper brings senior experience to our work within shipping and logistics, and to ESG projects that focus on commercial and strategic objectives.
His career spans 17 years with Maersk which has taken him across most continents and includes senior commercial and strategy roles. 
Recently returned to Copenhagen after seven years in China, he is passionate about making the world more sustainable by helping companies accelerate their ESG journey. 
Kasper holds a BSc from Copenhagen Business School and is currently studying Sustainability Management at Aros Business Academy.
